On April 26, 2021, the launching of No.22 & 23 50,000 DWT Product Oil/Chemical Tankers (IMO II Type) built for Shandong Shipping Corporation was carried out successfully from Drydock No.2.

At 2:30 p.m., the signing ceremony of intention orders was held at Jingyue International Hotel in Jingjiang. Our CEO Mr. Liu Haijin and Vice General Manager Mr. Xu Tao of Shandong Shipping Corporation signed the intention order for 10 X 50,000 DWT Product Oil/Chemical Tankers (IMO II Type) on behalf of both parties.

At 4:00 p.m., Our Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Zhang Yuyong and Vice General Manager Mr. Xu Tao of Shandong Shipping Corporation signed the delivery documents, which indicates that the first of 8 X 50,000 DWT Product Oil/Chemical Tankers (IMO II Type) of the SOLAR project was completed and delivered. 

At 4:30 p.m., the naming ceremony of No.20 & No.21 50,000 DWT Product Oil/Chemical Tankers (IMO II Type) and the delivery ceremony of No.20 50,000 DWT Product Oil/Chemical Tanker (IMO II Type) was held ceremoniously. Our Chairman Mr. Yuan Kaifei and Chairman of Shandong Ocean Group Mr. Bao Jianying delivered speeches respectively. Godmother Mrs. Chen Baiwei named the vessel 0405020 and 0405021 for "SOLAR SALLY" and "SOLAR CHERYL" respectively.
