Launching for No.5 and No.6 8800 TEU Container Vessels

On the morning of 5th June, 2015, in the joint force of several tugboats, No. 5 and No. 6 8800 TEU Container Vessels were launched from NTS Drydock successively at 4:50 and 6:30 a.m., mooring at the wharf for outfitting and commissioning.
The steel cutting and keel laying of these two vessels were carried out respectively in July and December last year, and they are scheduled to be delivered in October, 2015. Main particulars are LOA 299.95 m, Length between perpendiculars 286 m, breadth mld. 48.2 m, depth mld. 24.6 m, design draft 12.5m, scantling draft 14.5 m, deadweight 110,800 tons and class GL.
